Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Sales by SCS CANADA shall be subject to the terms and conditions herein and Buyer's purchase order shall constitute acceptance of such terms and conditions.  Buyer's purchase order, if at variance with the terms and conditions herein, shall not be binding upon SCS CANADA, unless specifically accepted by SCS CANADA in writing.

PRICES

Prices are F.O.B. Boisbriand, province of Quebec, or point of shipment.

PRICE CHANGES

Prices of SCS CANADA are subject to change without notice.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

The terms of payment of SCS CANADA are net 30 days. All overdue payments will be subject to an administrative charge of 24% on an annual basis.

LIABILITY

SCS CANADA shall not be liable for loss or damage of any kind resulting from delay or inability to deliver on account of fire, labor problems, accidents, acts of civil or military authorities, or from other cause beyond its control.

RETURN OF MATERIAL

No credit will be issued for returned material unless SCS CANADA has issued a written authorization. SCS CANADA reserves the right to refuse a return request. Return of certain sensitive products, such as but not limited to, sprinklers, chemicals, and products with a limited life span will not be accepted. The return request form must include the date and the invoice number relating to the product. A handling fee of 25% of the purchase price will be charged depending upon the type of goods returned. No return will be accepted on «special order» products unless the manufacturer gives an authorization for return. In that case, the manufacturer's conditions will be applied.

MINIMUM ORDER

The minimum order must be $ 100.00 before taxes for local delivery (via SCS CANADA truck).

WARRANTY

All SCS CANADA products are guaranteed for 1 year after the date or the invoice. For a defective product, our liability is in all cases limited to the replacement of the merchandise. SCS CANADA shall not be liable for any other charge as transportation and/or labor and/or other expenses related to the defective material.
